If given the choice, would you rather live forever or die happy?

Gasp! You're online!

Die happy. Hopefully in an orgy with 10 supermodels.

Living forever would get really boring really quickly. I'd so much rather die happy.

Die happy, space tends to get lonely 6 billion years after Earth destroys itself 100 times over...and it's rather hard to live in a body that's in unimaginable pain (you'd be surprised with the amount of pain you can live through) in space, and how it's almost impossible to move with nothing to push off of.

Die Happy. I'll die anyway, so it would be nice to go out with a smile.

the prospect that one day I might die happy is the only thing that is keeping me from killing myself right now.

The universe is so vast and experience is so varied that I doubt you would get bored with life unless you just became jaded. If we're talking about living forever in good health and with the intellectual capacity to enjoy it, then that's what I want.

i'd pick living forever with the exception of the fact that i'd have to do it alone. if i could have one person i love live eternity with me, then i'd be all for it.

But then you'd get cabin fever and try to kill each other.

I would live forever!

Lots of people get to die happy, but no-one has lived for ever... Um yeah. haha.

Ok, so if I could live for ever, I would start planting my own forest! I could watch it grow, and turn into a jungle as centuries passed!
Then after about 2000 years or so, I would have earnt enough cash on interest to stick myself into a pod, and fire myself at another planet, and start a new civilization. Would be well fun times.

It would be lonely when your friends and relitives died, but, living forever (in good health i assume) would mean that you could help the human race survive into the next big bang possibly, and allow us to finaly learn what ACTUALLY happened. Then you could laugh at everyone who disagreed with you like this; HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA

:respeck: (funniest post I have read all day!)

yes, your contribution to some of the threads up here on NS would be an informative read:
*Creationist7645*: No, we are all gods children
*Evolutionist666*: Actually, we came from the fish, that’s why we can still swim. duh.
*Assortedness*: No, we didn’t come from the fish, we used to be ruled by them as slaves, but the dinosaurs became our friends and ate them all.

Can't I live happy?

This is a hard choice, but.....
Would I be immortal
Or invulnerable?

Don't know the difference?
Read Bridge of Birds.

Immortal means I wouldn't die of natural causes, but there's not a chance a person can function with a hole the size of a watermelon in their head, even if they were alive.

Invulnerable means I can't be hurt, and comes to pretty much the same thing because nothing could harm you. No harm, no foul; no death.

So which, my furry friend? WHICH?

Also, if I was like Lazarus Long.... I just live for a shit long time, but I can still die. I like that better.

well...it IS a possibility...

Every time I eat seafood I laugh evily at it and go "Look who's in control now!" then I cower in fear in case the Fish Overlords come back. (actually i have alot of theories that fall between the two, as ive tryed stating in other posts. But unfortionately, nobody cares what you have to say if they cant find anything to get mad about in it)

I'd rather die happy. I mean, it didn't say that you were going to die in pain. It said happy...Squee!

Being immortal would be complicated and I believe that most humans prefer the easier way out.

Live forever. Because I have faith in my ability to always find things that entertain me. Even if it's at someone else's expense.

I'd rather die happy. Living forecer would get boring, and everyone you know would eventually die along with the human species. If that happened, I'd go insane.
