Should conservatism/authoritarianism entail religion and being anti-science?

Speaking to people, and doing tests that are supposed to determine your political alignment, conservatists and authoritarians are supposed to be pro-religion and anti-science. However, I am a reactionary authoritarian, and strongly believe most things should go back to the way they used to be. Despite this, there are two things that I disagree with:

1. That the state and religion should be indistinct. I am devoutly atheist and disagree with ANYTHING religious related being forced upon anyone, or being integrated with the state.

2. That science should be halted. Scientific progress is important, I believe socially we need to return to ages past, but not scientifically.

So, does that mean I'm not a reactionary authoritarian? I certainly feel like one. Which comes to my question, should conservative/reactionary mindsets require pro-religious mindsets?

No political beliefs require any other beliefs. People should think each issue through completely, and not just buy into it because it is "part of the ideology". I'm a social progressive. That does not mean I must also be anti-gun. Etc.
