Cursed Mutants ...

Damn mutants !

A baby tortoise has been turning heads in Dorset, England - after being born with two of its own.

The two-headed Mediterranean spur-thighed tortoise was born two months ago.

It was the last egg in a batch of 14 to hatch in a home-made incubator and had to be helped from its shell.

Stunned owner John Jones has named his new pet Solomon and Sheba - because he was not sure of the tortoise's sex.

Although unusual, the case is not unique. A two-headed tortoise was also found in South Africa last year, and another was hatched in Wales in 2001.

Experts say the condition is congenital, and not caused by incubation.

Look at the picture in the link ... awwww ... so cool !

I think that of all animals that could be born with two heads, the tortoise is perhaps best suited to surviving the condition.

I like the bit where one head thinks the other is prey and tries to swallow it. That is one seriously damaged lifestyle.
