I didn't know men could have an abortion. Hell, I didn't know men could get pregnant. The things you learn on this site.

wow i have nothing to do except sit at home and correct spelling mistakes on the internet..grabs another twinkie and adds to his mass
actually, it doesn't really take much time or effort to correct spelling mistakes on these forums, especially when they are so glaringly obvious. i don't see how noting conspicuous errors makes somebody more pathetic, especially when compared to someone, like yourself, who is also frittering away their time on an internet forum, but is also doing so with poor grammar and spelling.

The one time "your" would've been appropriate, too. ;)
I've never had an abortion, but I believe that they should be legal. Also, how can I know if I would have one or not if I don't know the situation? :P

Well, it seem like I'm the only one with any sort of experience in the matter. It was a difficult decision, but there wasn't much vacilation, since we both would have been unnable to support a child or give it anything resembling a decent life.
Even though we were careful, we knew there was a possibility of pregnancy and we were vigilant. In that way we didn't wait three months or anything like that. Pregnancy was terminated at about 5 weeks, the embryo being quite tiny it wasn't very difficult.
Of course, psicologically it was a different matter. Certainly our relationship was affected, and sometimes I remember that I could be the father of an eight year old kid now. But we still remain good friends and on further reflection I think we took the right decition.
Would I do it again? It would depend entirely on the circumstances, although I don't think I would, since now I'm able to provide a good home and be a good father.

I chose "no and I would not" because I honestly believe that the decision would be wrong for me and I do have a moral problem with it.
However, I want to do so with the stipulation that *no one* can know what they would do in a given situation until they are put there, so I cannot state with absolute certainty what I would not do in that situation.

Tell me about it. I just reread it and I have several of my own. I'm feeling sleepy, though.
EDIT: Another error, I had to add the "and".
SECOND EDIT: Had to change "errod" to "error". I'm gonna stop now.
well as far as myself...i have been thru an abortion experience...there were several factors involved...medically my girlfriend probably would not have been able to carry to term..something about a rh factor ..also we had only been together for a short time..financially we were both pretty secure and could have supported the child...ultimately i told her i would leave the choice to her and fully support her decision..but every year around the due date i think what could've been what would my child(who would be 4 now) have been like..sometimes it really eats me up on the inside...now i dont think i would go thru an abortion experience again unless my girlfriend had been raped or i was 90-100 percent sure that the child would be severely handicapped or retarded..or that the chance of my girlfriend losing her life was too high
