I remember reading awhile back that, if Iraq was basically split between the three major groups (Kurd, Shiite, Sunni) the Kurds would end up with an unproportional amount of natural resources and basically the Sunnis wouldn't have much of anything, but I don't remmber the source :( :confused: Does anyone have a source that talks about this?

Don't really have a source but I think the Kurds would get a good deal of the oil. The Kurds don't have all the oil though, remember durring the 1990s "kurdistan" was a defacto independent country since the US was patrolling their air space and keeping the Iraqi army at bay and Saddam obviously still had some oil flowing or there would have never been the oil for food program.
