I thought EO was real good. They way his team outsmarted Kealty was cool. And seeing Clarke and Chavez doing those dirty little things we don't want to know about is always a special treat.

I like them all, but Clear and Present Danger is my favorite book. The ending part where: Cutter kills himself shocked me and was amazing. The whole book was rivetting like all of Clancy's work.

I also loved Without Remorse and Rainbow Six. WR is good when you see the history of John Kelly/CLark

Cardinal of the Kremlin was the ultimate spy novel. Hunt for Red October was amazing. Good start by Clancy and a good read. The movie was pretty close to the book with some more minor changes and only 1 major change.

Patriot Games was good too. Nice read and it gave an idea of how terrorist groups work.

Sum of all Fears was amazing and somewhat scary. The movie sucked and did no honor to the book.

DoH was good, but the ending is scary considering it was written in 1994 and only 7 years later what the reviewer of Publisher's Weekly said was, "A shocker climax so plausible you'll wonder why it hasn't happened yet," actually occured.

EO was good and I liked seeing more of Ryan in a new position and the battle was amazing.

Bear and the Dragon ranks among the best, the ones ranked under others sucked big though.

Red Storm Rising, while not Ryanverse was good.

I especially like what they do with the light weapon to the Japanese E-767s!!!!

Without Remorse all the way. It is defineatly Clancy's darkest novel but is his best IMHO. You see how John Kelly (John Clark) thinks & the whole planning process & you really feel his anger. I think it would be an excellent, excellent film in its raw form. It would probably be controversial but thats where the empathy comes in you not only know JK's reasons for vengeance YOU feel them. Think of the ending with James Earl Jones as James Greer awarding Zachiarias much like the throne room scene in SW IV. ;)

Senior in HS, 3.85 overall GPA, Sophomore and Junior years alone are over a 4.0. I'm getting an A- in AB Calculus right now and got A's in Physics, Pre-cal, and Chemistry.

I went to my interview and the Lieutenant who conducted the interview complemented me on my grades. I've been acceted to Purdue and Michigan engineering schools. I know much of what you have to go through, 4 years NROTC at college, 6 months at nuke school, and then there is some other unique training.

I know all the work it takes. It has been my dream for years and I know it takes years after getting out of NROTC before you get on a boat. I've read about the ship quals and that it can easily take almost a year to get the dolphins. I've been taking a shitload of difficult classes in high school to prepare for it and will continue to do so in college.

As for NROTC, I'm still waiting for Northwestern and Illinois Institute of Technology to get back to me. The CO at Northwestern already sent me a letter and had me call him so he could try and beg me to choose Northwestern. I haven't been accepted to NROTC, but a member of my temple is a 20 year vet of Boomers and went through the NROTC at IIT. I showed him my online app and he said I was a good candidate.

I know all the physics is calculus based so my calculus class is by far my most important class I have. Ship quals will probably be a bitch, but there is a nice reward at the end of the tunnel. I work hard every day in calculus class so that one day I will be able to put on my dolphins and be serve on a submarine.

Good luck with college. I'm sure that won't be a problem since the physics and calculus would be easy for you. I'm curious, are you planning on making a career out of the military and getting up to chief or even work to get a commission or are you going to get out in a few years?

Rainbow Six because I love the first half where the teams are running around the world.

But Without Remorse had an awesome story, and was nice for the real possiblity of it happening, as opposed to the presidential happenings of a large number of the books.

Hunt for Red October is a classic, and rightly so. Good plot, and satisfactorily action-packed.

Executive Orders: This book is freakin' awesome! I'm still scared of the Ebola virus, a year after reading it! And an excellent storyline. This book is way too real. It scared the crap out of me (Figuratively, of course.)
