every day i come on here i see tons of threads about christians and other religions. . and they are pretty much populated by flamers . . .

what i don't get is why everyone posts repeat threads like that. yeah i know that everyone has a different opinion and deserves to be heard, but wouldn't it be smarter to just make one thread where people religion bash and be done with it?

that way there wouldn't be tons of seperate threads with the exact same subject. it would certainly make it easier to give your opinions.

sorry for any spelling errors, i can't see what i'm typing O_o;;

Hmm, no.
why? why would it be better for there to be tons of flamer threads indtead of just one?

I don't usually make my own threads anymore...
When I did, I always had to remake them because of flames.

Now, I never post in a thread that has more than 4 or 5 pages, because I know that half of it will be flames and it would take me a long-ass time to read and catch up to whatever is going on...
That's probably why so many people remake the threads...

Or, they're just not paying attention...

Or they think their thread will be somehow different...

What's really weird is when someone digs up an incredibly old thread that you'd started on a whim, and posts like there's been no interruption. Like that 'Ask a...' parody that popped up earlier today. I'm glad the mods killed it for me. I was thinking, 'Oh, no - I hope someone doesn't get it into their head to start up all that nonsense again'. So far, so good.
