I will be married by a religious person, but haven't decided on the place yet. I've always loved the idea of an outside wedding. Plus, my boyfriend is atheist -- but he's already said he wouldn't mind getting married in a religious setting.

Do you attend a place of worship? several. my partner's family is Methodist, and i attend services whenever i am visiting them. my father's side of the family is Jewish, and i will go to Temple and observe high holy days with them when i am around them. my PI (principle investigator, i.e. the professor who oversees my work) is some kind of kooky new-age fellow, and i have attended meditation ceremonies with him. beyond that, i also engage in personal "worship," though i am agnostic so i don't know if my forms of worship fit with what you mean.

In the event of your death, would you have a religious funeral?
Not a religious funeral, necessarily, but I'd like a spiritual one. I'd definitely want the focus to be on the fact that I was returning my body to the Earth, and that death is an inevitable part of life.

In the event of your death; do you wish to be buried, cremated or other?
I want to be buried in either a wicker or an unpolished wooden coffin with no metal or plastic elements to it. I don't want to be preserved with formaldehyde or made up to look pretty. I want it to be a green burial that doesn't lengthen the decomposition process like regular burials, or put toxins in the ground.
