How NS really is like real life.

Oh, sure, a lot of you are saying, "Wait a minute, Keruvalia, NS is a game and an internet forum!"
However, in my brief time here, I have noticed some amazing trends that make it very much like real life.
Some points to ponder:
1] In the latest UN resolution brought to a vote, less than half (44%) of the eligable voters actually voted. Sound familiar?
2] Constant repetition of the same old sad, tired ranting. Anyone who's ever watched more than 2 hours of any 24 hour news network (CNN, MSNBC, etc) knows this happens in real life.
3] Constant rising up of puppet nations is a direct reflection of television. Ever notice how most TV shows these days are the same premise as some other show, just with different faces?
What a zany forum in which we dwell. Anyone else notice anything they can add?

Yet they cancel the better ones sometimes.

A couple of medicine shows are a great example of that. I hate, despise, detest (use whatever word you want) "ER" and it's been on for 10 years or so. On the flip side, I loved "Presidio Med" and that didn't even last a whole season. :(

Or the cheap knock-offs.
The same can be said for the BAD threads and cheap knock-offs.

The TIN man is never the same, always different. To rant about the same thing all the time would be boring for jim.
