Great game, been a fan of the Total War games since before Warlord Edition.

Anyway... I was wondering if anyone had played it, and could answer a question I have about the Roman houses and the Senate. That being, how does a House generate popularity with the public? You can't attack the Senate until you're popular with the public, but I haven't figured out how to do that...

I think Shogun was the first game of the 'Total War' series. I've been playing it since then..

Umm.. To take over the senate? Don't know, what I do is keep conquering area's till I become the publics hero. :D

But if your house gets too big, Rome would ask you to concede some land, if not thhe other 2 houses would go against you, which kind of sucks.

Oh yeah.. btw, if you want to capture the whole map, leave out rome for last. Because once you capture Rome, and 50 cities, the game would end. :(

They asked you to concede land? They kept on asking me to have my leader commit suicide.

Conquer land especially ones with wonders.
