This may seem a random time to post this to many but who else hates the annoying lights that go off constantly?

And annoying bangs. Who (above the age of 10) is really impressed by that?
I never really understood the point of some of the fireworks. I was always a fan of the fireworks that "turned into something", like the little bird in the cage, or a dragon. But I don't get why people enjoy some of them....

They light up the sky and they're pretty. And romantic. it's just that simple. Plus it's a great song by the Tragically Hip.

I can see nothing romantic about explosions going on all around.
I'ts like WW111 out there at the moment, and my dog is about to have an epilectic fit.

Noisy fireworks are seriously crippling my enjoyment of video games -_-. Why do we brits still celebrate that some unpopular king wasn't killed by catholics these days anyway?

That's s different story altogether!
Life would be boring without them. They make you jump when you don't expect them and everyone in Cincinnati gets to enjoy a show Labor Day weekend. :)
