Let's talk about this injustice:

Eighty years ago women didn't have the vote but are nowadays considered equal, do you think that in eighty years time that animals will have the vote?

How can a beatle? Don't you know that there are many ways to vote around the world? and most don't involve a pen?

Nano-computers, that's my answer... :D

Registration is gone my friend... after the bacteriae kill all humans, they'll change the system into something more rational... haha... that was too much to ask to americans.

(In case you don't know most countries have national records of the citizens and no one needs to do such a thing as "register" for an election, what a nonsensical-retarded thing)

Since we have more bacteria in our bodies than anything else, would that mean each one of us would constitute a state and have Electoral Votes? So could we expect the candidates to personally address each one of us in a bid to win those EVs?

Americans? Who was talking about americans?

PS Countries where you don't have to register for voting have no democracy. Logically implied they wouldn't heve to register

Much better for the government to keep a national registry of its citizens. And they say the US is to the right of Europe?

As to the original post, I have ealier in a similar thread explained my position, if a species is going to be drafted to fight for their country they should have the right to vote to influence those who will make those decisions. As the US currently drafts (not even a volunteer force like with the Homo Saps) Dolphins and Sea Lions I feel that those species should be granted the vote. Intelligent enough to fight, intelligent enough to vote.

using the electoral system would be unfair. Those who don't take showers are dirtier and home to more bacteria than those of us who are clean. The candidates would only visit the dirty people, and skip all of the clean people

HUMANS... ARE... DEAD... Only bacteriae that live in the air and soil will be around... if you want to keep a discussion like this (even as mad as it can be) there has to be some logic, even if it's about someone farting their way to the moon.

Well under strict terms no, the US president is not elected by the citizens of the US. The president of the US is elected by the states (and DC), each of which has devolved it's choice to it's citizens.

I have no idea why, but that just made me envision Bush knocking on my door and asking if he could address the slime mold growing out of the old yoghurt container in the back of my fridge, cause it's got more potential voters than I do.
