Damn near exactly half of the nation, both times Bush was elected, voted against him. If that isn't a deep division, I don't know what is. The fact remains, if half of the US doesn't vote for you, you're not a popular president.

Drop it ok? Its over, Kerry lost, Bush won. I hate the fact that Bush is still in the office. But theres nothing we can do except bear our teeth and hunker down for the next four years until 2008. Hopefully in 2008 we can get a Democrat like Bill Clinton and win!

It's true.
Bill Clinton couldn't even get a majority. And he sucked.

Yeah, please drop it. Clinton never got above 50% and Bush just did with 51% It's a very small margin, but he got it. Both men worked hard as ever and America decided. I'm actually more suprised that Kerry did so well compared to Bush, the war-time president.
Oh and before I go.... Kudos to Kerry for keeping this out of the courts and admitting that Bush won by a big enough margin to be undisputed.
