There's going to be a Republican President for four more years. The HOuse got more republican. The Senate got more republican. The Democratic party will barely be able to filibuster anymore. Soon, there'll be a conservative majority in the Supreme Court.
The Republicans are now free to fix the country up. There are no more obstacles in their way. No more excuses. NObody left to blame.
Make the country better, Republicans. You have four years. No excuses. ;)

How bad can they be? The Republicans had a majority in the House since 1994, and the Presidency from 1980-1992. 12 years. ANd the Supreme COurt has either been conservative or balanced for quite a while now.
Clinton balanced the budget in 5. with a hostile House and a balanced senate.
No excuses. :)

I am a libertarian and have voted so since 1988. But all the hatred directed at President Bush during this campaign (especially that coming from EUros) convinced me to vote for Bush this time.

We can do it. I am pretty confident. With the supreme court wide open, and 2 supremes (Sandra Day O Connor and Rehnquist) retiring soon, the judges can be chosen as we please.
