About Us
Mendip Editing Consortium was created on the 19th July 2004, as a small group currently commited to designing single player and multiplayer missions. We hope to learn the art of add-on making sometime, but havent got far yet!
We registered our tag on ofpec as MEC. Tags are a way of helping prevent conflicts between add-ons, and each group is encouraged to use such a code. Registration is an unofficial, yet free method of helping securing a tag. Tags should be 3 characters or more, the first being alphabetical. You can view the full Tag specification here. Therefore our MEC tag, is fully compliant with the registering specification and was available, so anything we do produce, will not conflict with other groups' materials.

MEC is hosted and affiliated with Mendip Computing. Technical content and server facilities are provided by Mendip Computing.
