Bush gets a clue this time around and realizes that he doesn't have divine mandate here. There were only 2 or 3 states that anybody won by more than a 10% margin. What should that tell us? Well, it should tell us that Bush does not have a clear mandate and should try to act as the president of his entire constuency, not just the ones who agree with him on every issue. Of course, considering that he lost the popular vote last time and also had an extremely close race and still tried to rule as if he had divine mandate, I won't get my hopes up too high.
