Anyone have any thoughts as to wether or not Hilary Clinton will be the democrat candidate in 2008?
Also will she be running against Dick Cheney?
Will the "haha bush won" threads still be going strong in 2008 ;) ?

She'll run against Jeb Bush because Cheney likely won't even be alive in 2008.

Cheney has already stated that he has absolutely no presidential amibitions of his own. Hitlery will most likely face off with Rudy.

I sure as hell hope the Democratic Party doesn't nominate Hilary. I can't think of a less electable candidate. She would lose by a landslide.

I personally like Hilary, but don't think she could win in 2008. I hope Santorum doesn't run for Republicans, I don't like the man at all. And who is Gov. Owens? I've never heard of him. I wouldn't mind Powell running, but as it's been said many times, he won't. McCain also wouldn't be bad at all, but he'll probably be too old to want to run. Back to the Dems, I also like Barak Obama, but I don't think he has enough experience under his belt for a Presidential run so soon...maybe 2012. But frankly, besides Hilary or Obama, I can't think of any other Dems that can make a good race (although there were a couple in this past year's primaries that were allright). Back to the Republicans, I really don't want Jeb to run...12 years worth of 2 Bushes is way more than enough for me.

Clinton is a terrible choice no non liberal would vote for her in a million years! The democrats don't really have anybody strong candates for 2008. Everyone should brace themselves for a looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggg stretch of Republican power domination because the democrats are finished.

Yes, I can see Hilary on the ticket. Why not? Who would be her competition? Some washed up 'has been' senator? Or, one that couldn't get re-elected?
I for one, and along with a lot of my bretheran would vote for her. Why? Because our hate for bill is that strong! We would vote her in, just to see bill as the first whatever the term will become put in that position!
Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, and Colin Powell have all said they will not run for president.
It really will come down to McCain (I think) and possibly Guiliani.
If Swarzenegger can ram his amendment through (which I seriously doubt) then he might give it a shot. But it's doubtful the evangelical Christian base Bush has built up will tolerate him.
My crystal ball says: Hillary vs. McCain

All I can say is that I fervently pray that Hillary will neither run nor be elected.
If McCain were to run, I would vote for him in a heartbeat.

I would back McCain, too, but he would really be too old. I can see Bush moving Condi to Sec of Defense (Rummy needs to go), padding her resume, then running her with an older more experienced person as her running mate...like McCain. Rudy's personal life has too much scandal to pass the conservative voter's test. Dean is perceived as having a total lack of self control, he'll never make it on a ticket. Joe Lieberman might try again. My $ on the dems is Clinton/Obama.
