Hmm. Perhaps you should place a call to the Ohio Secretary of State and complain about his statement then.

i only read a little of it but didn't he just confirm the numbers of how many provisional votes there were to be counted? I mean there is still a statistical chance, and lets face it, after the criticism that Gore gave in too quickly 4 years ago me thinks Kerry will hold on until all hope is really gone. That said, i still think it will be confirmed as a Bush re-election sooner or later.

Bush's lead is almost the same as the number of provisional ballots. While it is mathematicaly possible for Kerry to win, it is EXTREMELY unlikely. All the provisional ballots would have to be valid(never happens) and then would have all had to vote for kerry (almost impossible). Even if they all came from strong Kerry districts, they would have to vote for Kerry in greater proportions than the strongest Kerry districts. And then there are the military ballots which go 80/20 for Bush.

How about Mccain/Guiliani? I would prefer Guiliani/Mccain. or even a Guiliani/Whitman if hillary is running.

anything is better if hillary runs, and the only reason she will get votes from democrats that dont care what she stands for as long as she calls herself a democrat. and women that also dont care what she stands for as long as she has female body parts running for president

Americans have decided that they want fiscal irresponsibility, bigotry, a poor economy, a misguided war against terrorism, a man more concern over the plight of the weathly than the poor and religion in politics. You got what you wanted. Congratulations.

He pointed out that the number of provisional votes was lower than the margin which Bush already had in Ohio. Even in the unlikely event that Kerry garnered ALL the provisional votes and discounting the fact that no state has validated more than about 17% of provisional votes ( I think that's the right figure, but I'm sure my friends on here will correct me if I'm wrong! ), Bush would still have a slim lead.

I'm already hearing Democrats start touting Obama for pres in '08. The guy hasn't even stepped into office yet! Haven't they learned yet... Find a good quality candidate that has a record that shows he stands for what the party believes in. Then maybe you want a chance to win.
Kerry has shown yet again that you don't win by just being "the other guy".

Judging by the amount of support the world offered us in the UN, we can see what trying to build credibility does: get you stabbed in the back. Bush won because Americans are tired of caring about what the rest of the world thinks and getting nothing in return.

Hmm talking about wmd:s that didn't exist and use them as the primary reason for UN to allowing the war is that building credibility?
