A few months or so ago, I promised if Bush won, I would go(in 1.5 years, when I am of age) to france, to join up with the french foreign legion. Seeing as it looks like a bush win, I will be keeping up with this. If anyone wants to bookmark this or whatever, I hope you will. I will bump this in two or so years, when I am with the legion. I will give pictures, stories, etcetera.

I will keep my promise.

Good luck, I looked into it a year ago, for my own different reasons, and only 1 in 9 applicants pass the two week selection course. But if you can make it, have fun. It's not that stupid an idea, it works for some.

Not really. I love France, and I want to join the military, its my goal. If its under bush, I choose the french route.

I know its hard to get into the FFL. But im going to be someone who it training for it, not just picking it.

The fact that you have to renounce citizenship of your native land is what killed the deal for me. These days that might work the other way.

I also looked into it about a year ago... I desperately want to move to France. It's incredibly hard though. Both getting into the Foreign Legion, which is a nightmare test, so you'd better train hard... And getting into France in general unless you marry a French person.
