Because of the political season, and a recent rise of boredom, a few
people and myself have started a very interesting game. We opened up
an online forum at http://s8.invisionfree.com/The_IFR/ and have used
this site to create an online nation with a government similar to that
of America's. We already have 12 citizens, but we understand that
more are needed for the whole thing to work better.
We've set up an artificial currency on a third party site so that we
could have a mock economy. Already there are three privately owned
companies that "produce" various commodoties for the public to buy.
My company constructs buildings, another makes the materials needed to
build buildings, and the third is getting ready to sell power and oil
to the population. There are some rules, like you have to eat food in
order to be a member, which means you need to get a job on there and a
house and so on. On October 29th we made history by ratifying our
constitution and our bill of rights. On December 17th we will hold
our first elections.
