is it possible? put new hampshire and nevada in the kerry camp, and you have a split 269 / 269 electoral vote.
wtf would happen?
The real issue is putting New Mexico in Kerry's column. I don't think he can carry it this year.

Unfortunatly, it seems to be all but over. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed for Ohio, but it looks like Bush is going to take that state regardless. Sigh.
The H.O.R. would vote Bush in
The Senate would vote Edwards in
Thus,
2004-2008:
Prez: George W. Bush
Vice-Prez: John Edwards

If Bush takes Ohio, which looks almost certain now, Kerry needs to win every other state which, with the strong Republican leads in New Mexico and Alaska, the tenuous Democrat leads in Nevada and Wisconsin and the 50-50 split in Iowa is very unlikely to happen.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Four More Years.
Edit: With Alaska gone to the Republicans, Kerry now needs Ohio to stand any chance at all. America, What is wrong with your people? You've elected a fascist oil-bleeding monkey... again!
if a 269 269 split, the house elects the prez. the house is republican, four more years, regardless. It's all but official.

Don't even try. Half of them seem unable to comprehend that this man is leading us all toward global war...

The President is reelected.
Hahahaha!
Daschle is done.

Absentee ballots have yet to be counted. Just something to consider.
The H.O.R. would vote Bush in
OR: if some of the Democrats from the house endorse a more moderate Republican candidate that some Republicans would be willing to vote for, a third candidate not even on the ballot could win the election.
Don't even try. Half of them seem unable to comprehend that this man is leading us all toward global war...
Yes, I wish the terrorists had attacked the places responsible for our ignorant and egocentric foreign policies as opposed to the urban cities which shelter the most learned and sensitive (heh.) of our nation.
Better that we have a big gaping hole where Alabama used to be than have attacks on any of the costal cities.

McCain?

Bravo, well said.

Go McCain! Go Arnold! Go Gulliani!
I'd rather have them than Kerry, that's for sure.
Bravo, well said.
It was bitter sarcasm, don't take it too seriously.
As much as I'd like to beat some sense into people, it still won't solve the problem of ignorant Americans and partisanship, religion, spoiledness, xenophobia, apathy, and sheer stupidity.
On an unrelated note, scientists believe they have found proof of a genome responsible for some people having the propensity to believe in gods.
