Nonamericans and American Politics

If thier are people who don't live in the U.S. out there, what of anything, do you know about american politics? because i sure as hell no nothing about any other countries politics, and i was just wondering if Me, Americans, or everyone is ignorant about other country's politics.

The politics of America, especially it's foreign policy, effects the world more than the world's politics seem to effect America.

As for the request for a hasty generalisation of which people are ignorant, I'll decline.

because America is the most powerful nation on earth.

Aside from the fact that Americans in general aren't very politically oriented, people in other countries are affected more by American politics than we are by their politics. So while most* British people could pretty well sum up the Democratic and Republican platforms, I know next to nothing about the Lib. Dems., Conservatives, Labour, etc.


*edit: probably shouldn't make generalizations, but this does seem to be the case.
