Okay. I already voted today. Now I'm drinking and awaiting the results. Who is doing likewise?

Not drinking yet. Gonna drink when results start coming in. Take a shot every time your candidate's name is mentioned. :D

Too bad I'm gonna be sober, having voted for Badnarik.

I almost voted for Badnarik. I had a tough time choosing between him and Peroutka.

Why drink after voting?

It would be so much more amusing if everyone HAD to drink before voting.

On the other hand that would probably mean that the vote spilits 60% bush,
30% Nader
10% American Facist Workers party

BRING FUN BACK TO THE ELECTION!!! BYOB!!

Well, after mulling over some tough choices, I decided to voted for Nader. I almost voted for Badnarik, but I decided that Nader needed it more to get a chance at matching funds.

I voted Rasch, the Connecticut Libertarian candidate for Senate. In my opinion, it's in the Senate and the House that we have the best chance of breaking the two-party stranglehold.

I hope you're not in a swing state. Because if you are...bad things will happen. :sniper: (shifty eyes)

Oh, please. Do you think I'd risk Bush getting elected? If my vote really mattered, I wouldn't have voted my heart.

How sad is that? :(

Badnarik and Peroutka? That's an interesting toss-up.

Here in PA, the liquor stores are closed on election day. (Liquor sales are controlled/monopolized by the state). And bars can only open if they have a "Sunday" liscense, meaning a percentage of your sales have to be food. Damn blue laws.

See? This is exactly why you need to elect more Democrats and Libertarians. Hehehe.

Interestingly, selling the "State Stores" as they're called, was something Tommy Ridge was trying to do when he was Governor. In his resignation speech, (before his lobotomy, as required of anyone serving in the Bush administration) he called on the state legislature to sell them to private enterprise in order to generate lots and lots of revenue.
They and our ribbon-cutting current governor decided to legalize gambling instead.
