Shouldn't our next presisent be elected based on Issues? Not his political party, or how cute he is, or where he comes from, but on his position on the issues that effect Me and You. Me and you personally

Because that would be too egg-headed, and we all know how unAmerican intellectuals are.

Aww only middle-class are we? ;)

Where have you been?

The issues are:

1) The boogyman terrorist is going to kill you!
2) Make sure the wealthy don't have to pay inheritance taxes and get massive tax cuts so they will spend money to create jobs for you.
3) Make sure the rest of the world doesn't tell you what to do!

Ahh well. Who will be the next President? A chimp or Frankenstien? ;)

I agree. But unfortunately, we'd need new candidates for that. :)

Who gave you the right to vote?

No one gave me the right, I took it by breathing.

So everyone who breathes has the right to vote in America?

70% Bush

I got-
95% Kerry
3% Bush

I think that's pretty clear cut. if only it had the other candidates on it.

The problem is this:

The people with integrity can't sleaze enough of their party to back them.

One would think that the purpose of the Primaries is to choose the Best Possible Candidate. But that's a fallacy. The purpose of the Primaries is to choose the Lowest Common Denominator. These were Bush and Kerry.

They weren't chosen based on their qualifications. They were chosen based on the perceptions of their own party gurus of their chances of winning. Nothing more.

Sucky, isn't it?

Anyone with a certain amount of integrity, cannot lie. Anyone who cannot lie, cannot get elected. Hence: we have politicians for our leaders.

Sucks indeed it does.
