Does anyone who enjoyed that "October Surprise" videotape of Osama Bin Laden, ever consider why this terrorist does not want you to vote for George W. Bush?

That Terrorist wouldn't particularly care if no-one turned out to vote. Either way the wind blows, Bin Laden wins the 2004 election. He'll take whatever result he sees and he'll use it for an Al-Qaeda membership drive.

Kerry wins: "See, my Arab brothers, they take notice of me".
Nader wins: "See, my Arab brothers, I have toppled their political system"

Or more devious than that. (Admitedly the third, at least, would be technically correct.)

Someone doesn't like the response America has inflicted. Someone has not bothered to study his history: Attack America and you will die

Attack America and you will die.

Actually, apparently, it's:

Attack America and you will live in hiding.

WANT to attack america, and you will die.

Attack America and you will die.

Almost nobody has attacked america though, have they?

A more accurate representation of history would be:
Attack america,
or attack a country that is basically friendly to america that has big oil reserves,
or attack your own people if you have big oil reserves and america has an army in the area,
or have a pro-communist revolution when we are feeling feisty,
or be the democratically elected leader of your newly independent country when we'd rather your country was a dictatorship,
or be minding your own business and getting on with your life in a country that has a vicious government that oppresses you that america setup, funded and supported,
and you will die.

Ehh the third could just happen because we are just pissed with the current system .. though he would take credit i doubt that would be the real reasons

Ah. We are talking historically.

Then I agree with you when taken from that perspective.

I said out loud on 9/11. 'THey are fools. If they knew us, knew their enemy, they would know that's exactly the wrong thing to do to us.' American History is an exciting, short but bloody read. *nod*

Of all things, I can only remember America being attacked by Japan during WW2. Nazi Germany didn't really attack America but tried to cut America off from Great Brittain but didn't directly attack them. After that, it was mainly America attacking other countries and meddling in foreign affairs. :sniper: :mp5:

Me? I think of us more like a surly drunk wolvering with anger management issues and an affinity for TV. As long as we can watch TV, we're fine. but if you distract us from that tube, then woe to you. :)

I don't know... Pancho Villa did very well after he attacked the US. Sure, Pershing kind of looked for him for a while but then forgot about him.

He was murdered later, buy by political enemies in Mexico, aoubt 10 years after his raid.

TV is a drug. An unregulated drug. I broke my addiction when I was 22, and I'm a better man for it. The only show I watch with anything resembling regularity is Monday Night Raw. Because one of my best friends is a wrestling fanatic, and we get together at his house most monday nights and... well...I've told stories of what happens when I and my buddies get together.
