BTW...this is the thread that got my looking for the full speech

In his most recent tape, Osama bin Laden says that any state voting for Bush will not be spared from terrorism.
To him I say: Just try screwing with Wyoming, you sonuvabitch. Wyomingites will mow down everything you send at them, you camel-humping bastard. :sniper:
Vote Bush. He will bring justice to these crazy people, if you can call them that.

If I was Osama I would have added some "yo mama so fat" jokes, addressed to Bush Jr.

Not only that...the full Osama tape was 18 minutes long, and al-Jazeera only played 6 minutes, in which Osama bin Hidin' makes all sorts of threats. However, the other 12 minutes of that tape were spent bemoaning the situation in which al-Qaeda finds itself (i.e., mostly disbanded) and the situation in Afghanistan (i.e., free elections, very little disruption from Taliban or Qaeda forces, more freedom for women...)...
hmmm, something tells me he(Panhandlia) did not see/read the other "12 min"...It looks more like speculation...or limited media access ( FOX/CNN/AC)

What Osama was REALLY saying:

"I am making this EVIL speech as a cynical ploy for the American government. when people see that I hate bush, they will vote bush, as then they think that will annoy me... what the ignorant american population don't understand is that I am on the payroll of Bush, and as long as i'm around, people will vote bush! Mwahahahaha! Look at the timing of my message-Just before the election-if he'd captured me before the election that would be too obvious!"

(Impossible I'll admit, But I felt like a laugh.)

hmmm, something tells me he(Panhandlia) did not see/read the other "12 min"...It looks more like speculation...or limited media access ( FOX/CNN/AC)Nor is he aware of the true situation in Afganistan. The Taliban is alive and well and in control of many districts. The "president" of the country in truth only controls the area around the capital and has no controls over the country's borders. Afganistan is back to being a collection of warring factions with no national identification system and no power to issue passports or visas. The election was a joke, there were 2 million more people 'registered' to vote then there were people eligible to vote, a little fact that the bush administration doesn't like to talk about. If Usama's pissed about the situation in Afganistan, it's not because we brought democracy there or anything like that (we didn't), it's because we left the country a bigger mess than when we got there. The only thing we did do was install a puppet government that lets the US do whatever they want with official 'sanction' and secure a pipeline through the country.

That's absolute, unadulterated crap, the taliban aren't in control of anything, the americans come and go as they please, the regional warlords have pretty much all signed on with the americans, who do you think was producing those election candidates?

The taliban are hiding out in the mountains, inbetween fighting the regional warlords endlessly, and trying to avoid american forces like the plague.

America's main forces are guarding cities like Kabul, the regional warlords are allied witht he americans and are doing most of the fighting, with the occasional american strike force, but primarily specialist assistance for the afghans such as special forces to call in air support.

Did you see their complaints about the election? The ink issue and that they hadn't been given enough education in politics, how many of these warring factions spoke out against the election itself?

Afghanistan will be regionalised much like every other country in the world, but they are leaning towards peace and have been actively pushing towards it between these "warring factions" sans the Taliban/Al Qaede who are fighting everyone.
