I think abortions are necessary. This world allows too many really stupid people to breed. There are a lot of people who I don't feel are even capable of actually raising a child.

I've had an idea for awhile that really makes no sense, but seems to be true. Conservatives tend to think conservatives are more attractive, liberals tend to think liberals are attractive. MKULTRA finds Teresa Kerry more attractive than Laura Bush. MunkeBrain finds just the opposite (I believe he called Teresa Kerry an ugly abomination of bitches, or something like that).

There is no 'child' involved in abortions, because the correct term is fetus, embryo, zygote. If you are referring to all inter-womb stages in general, using 'infant' will help you avoid looking like a brainwashed fool (same applies to the use of 'baby'.

There is no 'victim' involved in abortion, because to be a victim you must be aware that 'bad things' are happening to you. All non-health-related abortions occur before the fetus HAS A BRAIN, so it is not a victim.

Abortion is not murder, because murder a) must be illegal (abortion isn't), b) must be of a human being (debate exists as to whether fetuses are) and c) must be against the 'victim's' will (see point above).

A woman cannot be forced to donate an organ to save a life, unless we make EVERYONE donate organs to save lives, even if they do not consent and actively seek to NOT donate organs. Same for blood, while we're at it.

Uh, you CAN kill comatose people, if they aren't expected to recover and are on life-support. It's called pulling the plug; well, if I'm talking about it using disphamisms, it is at any rate. You can legally have life-support turned off if they are brain dead. And I think 'brain dead' is roughly equivilent to 'not having a brain at all'.

Zygotes are a mere handful of cells. Not only do they not have brains, they don't have ANY organs. How about that.

Embryos are almost ditto, except they are larger, and have the beginnings of organs. Still no brains though.

Fetuses don't have brains until between, I believe, 18-21 weeks. Hence that being the cut off date for elective abortions.


Now, if you seriously think I have the same physical amount of brain matter as any of those forms of infants, you really *really* should go read up on human anatomy before trying to debate.

In this case it does influence legality; if your living will states you wish to die at X time, you are allowed to die. Even if you have brain function.
