I didn't expect a fan of George W Bush to compare him to Hitler. I wasn't surprised to see a Bush campaign ad portraying Hitler as a Kerry supporter, but I really didn't expect a Bush supporter to compare Bush to Hitler.

It's more about poking fun at the forums on the extreme left and right going ape over the early-voting N.H. precincts that are supposed to foretell the winner. In particular, I thought it was hilarious that the first district in the nation to report had a 50/50 split with Nader spoiling it for the democrat. ;)

Also: everyone will remember that it was Pepe who got the election day exit-polling hysteria started! That's right!

In other news: Tom Daschle already suing Jim Thune. Shenannigans, I say!

The US (and Australia) need a strong third party. Not like the two major parties are very different anyway... And can't they form a coalition?

Well.....if the early voting is compared to the last election in 2000, then Bush is a dead man :D :

In 2000, both communities chose President Bush over Democrat Al Gore (news - web sites). In Hart's Location, Bush won 17-13. In Dixville Notch, about 50 miles to the north, Bush had 21, Gore five and Ralph Nader one vote.

Kerry is already 2 votes ahead of Gore, and Bush is down 2 votes!!

You want to see an evil man? Look at Senator Kerry. The Sinclair film, Stolen Honor, which Kerry's camp has been trying to suppress for weeks, has been posted for free viewing online. Check it out before you go to the polls and make an uninformed decision, folks.

THat would be the sweetest Irony....... I love Irony.

Anyway, if Nader wasnt really just a bush stooge dont you think he would have to be insane to waste all that money running for president when he couldn't possibly win? Sorry but this a two party system. If there were 3 major parties one would have to win by a great margin to get the required amount of EC votes to win.

Support your argument that Kerry is an "evil" man.

BTW, I thought that they were going to broadcast that story on television....what happened to those plans?

I watched it and found it interesting.

However, it is a politically motivated film.

They way they laid out the design basically implied Kerry made the prisoners get totured, Kerry made people call the vets baby killers, kerry made the war go on, etc. etc.

They also used that photo of Kerry and Hanoi Jane at a protest. They of course suggest Kerry was working with Hanoi Jane even though she said they never worked together.

There was no need to censor the film.

Many people view Nam as ancient history now.

Many people view it as Kerry protested an F'd up war.

It was censored on the grounds that it was politically motived.

It was, but I don't think it would have changed many minds.

You know, as karmically satisfying as that might be, I'd still rather see Kerry wipe the floor with Bush and wind up with about 53% of the vote.

That's still not as gratifying considering how atrocious Bush's record is.
I defy anyone to tell me that he has done more good than evil on social and domestic issues. Or better yet, just prove to me he's helped the environment.

I would love to see an electoral tie.

That would let the House select the President (which will likely be Republican)

RESULT: Bush wins Presidency

BUT WAIT, there is MORE!!

In the event of a tie, the Senate selects the VP, and the Senate is possibly going to be Democrat this time around.

Bush/Edwards win the election, now if that isn't justice, I don't know what is!!

Yeah, but it's not looking likely that the Democrats will take the Senate. They'd pretty much have to win all but one of the close races.

If there's a tie in the Senate, does Dick Cheney get to vote himself in?

I'd actually like that.. I think Cheney would too, to be honest. ;) He's gotta be under too much stress for a guy with 2 heart operations under his belt..

Not that I think the Senate has any chance at leaving the GOP... but that'd be wild.

Speaking of VP Cheney though....

Final Battleground Poll: Bush 52%, Kerry 47.8%

Compare to Cheneys prediction of a 52-47 result... eerie..

Could be closer or further apart, but still.. Battleground was the closest in 2002, with 22/23 states predicted correctly.. It'd just be weird if Cheney was right..

Nader is a douchebag for running, but considering the amount of support he has gotten this time, people who vote nader wouldn't of voted at all if he wasn't running. or they would of voted for some other third party guy like cobb, brown, or badnarik.

Okay, well.. I'm assuming it won't be that close.. but that'd be pretty sweet if that were the case, just as an unexpected surprise.. but also as a state Kerry coulda easily won with, like, 2 days of campaigning.. :p

Personally, I want Kerry to landslide the popular vote, but actually only get around 271 or 272 electoral votes... including getting Colorado. And Proposition 200 fails.

Just to get to see the republican governer and those under him who have been campaigning nonstop to shoot down this ammendment explain to their party why they gave Kerry the White House.

I'd be rolling on the floor laughing for a week.
