What do you think W stands for? W stands for wrong. Wrong choices, wrong direction for America. This election comes down to one decision: Do we want four more years of wrong choices, or do we want to move America in a new direction?
On the issues, W stands for Wrong:
WRONG on Iraq
Today we know that the mission is not accomplished, hostilities have not ended and Bush has no plan to fix it.
WRONG on the Economy
Because of George Bush’s wrong choices, this country is continuing to ship good jobs overseas.
WRONG on Health Care
We deserve a president who will put people ahead of insurance and drug companies.
WRONG for Women
W means attempts to take away the right to choose, and ban medical procedures even when a woman's health is at stake.
WRONG on Education
Schools do not have the resources they need and George Bush is not working to make reform succeed while children are losing out.
WRONG on Homeland Security
Our intelligence services remain fragmented; our borders and ports are full of holes; our chemical plants are vulnerable to attack.
WRONG on Energy
George Bush's wrong energy choices have helped the oil industry but have squeezed families and been bad for America's security, economy and environment.
WRONG on Civil Rights
John Ashcroft and George Bush treat civil rights laws as if they are optional guidelines, not critical basic protections.
WRONG on the Environment
Over the last three years, we have seen environmental gains rolled back, our air polluted and our water contaminated.
