OK, here's how it works, folx. Someone begins this thread with a comment, and all responses are freeform (i.e., stream of conscious.) You only respond to the post immediately before yours (after reading the others, of course.) In the region of El Cheapo Resort and Day Spa, we call this a "story chain." Let's see how long we can keep this thread running. The goal is one month (for starters.) Here goes:


Have you seen my loins? Of course you have. When you did, it was the most amazing thing you'd ever seen; so much so, in fact, that you immediately said..........

Let's not.

1) While these excersises can be cool, I rather doubt that around here this will last more than a few moments before turning to spam.

2) Given that A Journey That Aims At The End Of The World (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=290107&page=1) has a year head start and is still active, its doubtful at best that you could have the longest running thread. And if you don't limit it to character RP threads, there's also examples such as ToY Charter Mk II (started 27-08-2003) (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=278371&page=1) or Titan News (26-04-2003) (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=274551&page=1).
