It would be swell if an enlighted person like Nader wins, too bad it won't happen in the near future.

No, he's the only one who genuinely cares about the people. Bush is doing a good job to keep terrorists away while Kerry is trying to keep the healthcare (if there's anything left of it) in one piece and telling stories of a better living standard for the poor but when it comes down to facts improvement of the living standard won't happen under Bush or Kerry. Nader seems like a rational person to me without the usual republican/democrat crap. I think that would do Americans a lot of good.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm right but not conservative. You need change for progress and I think Nader is a step in the right direction.

Well I've heard that if you commit enough serial breakfasts in one morning, they become serial brunches.
Anyway I guess a breakfast serial is when your breakfast is continued in a later episode.

I think that we need to trun the technology of time travel into a way to have parallel breakfasts. So if you don't like what you ordered, you can hit a button and change it to where you ordered something lse. (sci fi MASTER!)

ROTFLMAO! Good stuff! As much as I admire Ralph Nader, he does not have a prayer of being elected. A vote for him is, in effect, a vote for George Bush. Don't waste your vote on principle; if the previous almost four years are any indication, the consequence of your vote it is far too important.
And yes, I do support Kerry for President.

I do like what Nader said at somepoint during the campaign....he is there to prove to the people that you dont have to fall in line and pick one of the two major parties, despite their attempts to make it seem like they are the only choices
Yevon of Spira
01-11-2004, 19:40
There should be four choices
□ President George W. Bush (Republican)
□ Senator John Kerry (Democrat)
□ Ralph Nader (Reform)
□ Anarchy (We can do better without any of them)
Yevon of Spira does not endorse the checking of your computer moniters to answer the above poll

In my ideal world, Michael Badnarik would be the shock winner of the election. He's the one with the most sensible and progressive policies. Nader is good, but I've never seen a candidate I agree with or trust more than Badnarik.
I hope he runs in 2008, when if Bush loses this election the candidates fielded by the two main parties will be a lot weaker than the current pair, while he will have had 4 years of hopefully strong public image. Hopefully he won't be disheartened by losing this time round - Nader wasn't last time.

True, but hopefully if Bush loses this election then the polls will be less polarised next time around - and if Kerry loses then the Democrats would field Hillary Clinton and God knows who the Republicans would field in 2008.
Both of those situations leave the stage very open for third-party candidates to make some sort of move in 2008 - or at least a more hopeful one than this time around. The 'anyone but Bush' mentality has drawn a lot people to vote for Kerry, but next time around, if both major parties have managed to cock things up or both field dubious candidates (such as Hillary Clinton), provided people like Badnarik can get their voices heard above the rabble, I'm sure they can get somewhere in 2008, instead of just running to make a point as they are this time.

Swarzenegger was born a German citizen and is therfor ineligible for the presidency. For good or for bad, that is the constitutional decision.
