When I go to the movie theatre, I throw up intensely...

Well, at least I want to.
Honestly, what is wrong with mover makers now and days?
SAW? Yeah, lets make another horror movie where people get hacked into pieces by eachother. Includes a guy who looks like the Joker.
Shark Tale? Great idea! A "ghetto" movie with FISH. Blech.
The Grudge? A hissing Japanese child and fists in peoples scalps. Yawn.
And we can't forget Seed of Chucky. Chucky needs to die. Like, right now.
What happened to the movie industry? What happened to movies with PLOTS!?
And why does Sony produce most of these crappy movies?
PS:
A cookie for whoever can tell me what flag is on Jerry's fridge in Seinfeld.

In all honesty,
most people are too stupid to handle an intricate plot. All these sadists want to see is gratuitous violence and stereotypical marine organisms! Sony produces most of this crap because they know how to make money.

Haha...Stereotypical marine organisms.
Indeed.

Crappy films are nothing new. We just remember the good ones, and it's only the good ones that get repeated on TV. Seriously, that's what makes it look like there was a greater signal-to-noise ratio in terms of movie quality - it's an illusion, there really wasn't.
Crappy films have always been released because, given the right star, they will get back enough money for any film they produce to cover the costs and have a nice slice for themselves - that and the name of said star is kept big so they can pull the same trick again a few months down the line. Sure, a few of the stars they use have been in really great movies, that's how they've got the big name to play with - look at Robert De Niro.

That is an excellent point. I am sick and tired of the bureacratic media.

Try indie films, or European films...
Basically, anything not produced out of Hollywood. Lower budgets mean an inability to use massive special effects, which means the story has to be strong because there's no pretty explosions to make us forget how crap it is.
This is not to say all low budget films are good or that all hollywood films are crap. I just personally find that non-Hollywood films are generally high quality and engaging.
Also, if you ever have film festivals in your area, check those out. Go for those films that havn't been marketed like crazy.
And don't let subtitles put you off.
