Why I detest arrogance for arrogance

Listen, guys. We Americans UNDERSTAND the problems of our society (those of us smart enough to figure it out that is).
We KNOW we're disliked throughout the world
We KNOW our government is corrupted
We KNOW we've not been the nicest country in the world.

But to stoop down to the level of arrogance just to prove a point, which is usually not a point at all, but rather mere blind spouting of a hyper brain, is unacceptable. You will not get anywhere telling us off like that. We're fixing ourselves more or less, and by shouting the obvious or the stretched truth does not help anyone, it only divides people.

People, please. There's a difference between disliking a nation and falesly accusing a nation. One is completly fine. The other is just plain stupid.

What do you have to gain by calling me an Anti-anything?

I have no problem with Jews
I have no problem with Arabs, being a Muslim myself
I DEFINATLY have no problems with Muslims
I accept all religous beliefs
I enjoy all worldly culture, especially American and Italian
I dislike Bush and Kerry, but understand who is the lesser evil

So please. Be a little respectable. Instead of coming up to my face and calling me things I'm not, use facts. You will have a lot more of us nodding our heads and less people telling you to flip off.

Meh, needed to get that off.

Dude, watch it or you'll get deleted. We can't be having any of this "reason and logic" nonsense on an internet forum. For shame!

Right on!

And to all people...just because I happen to dislike (not hate or be annoyed with or not tolerate) somebody doesn't mean it has to stay like that forever.

I am a conservative who happens to find France a most fascinating and cool place. The hate is politically motivated. I do not need to hate.

I just want to behave oddly, and to do my part to help secure the right for others to behave oddly should they decide to.

Other than that, my only other vice is kinky sex.

Watching.

Waiting.

and when you are weak, he shall strike! And then I shall rule the world!

Very good point. I'm from Canada, and most of us are less than plesed with your current administration. Much as I may hate Bush and Co., it drives me crazy when people I know speak of hating "Americans". Many people hate specific Americans, such as Bush, and many people hate the American media, but I am well aware that there are numerous Americans who hate those things as much as we do.

Sadly, we see little beyond that biased media and your president. We see the loud-mouths who rail on about how the rest of the world can screw themselves and those who mock OUR countries (so sick of hearing Canada called "America Junior"). We don't see those who are intelligent, informed and open-minded towards other countries. So those of you who are, keep speaking loudly so that we remember that there's more to the USA than those bad things. But remember that we love our countries as much as you love yours, and we won't agree that you are the greatest country in the world. I'm not saying that all Americans believe that, but, sadly, its the impression we get.
