I'm a dude, whatever or where ever you stand-unless your prefrence is not for the gender at all-chicks kissing is hot. Don't know why, I don't think there is some sort of rationale that I could give that lists some sort of asthetic hierachy of reason. Chicks are hot (I mean, really-woman are hot. In all honesty a woman has to go out of their damn way not to be hot, and even then, that's kinda hot. I don't know what it is chicks see in dudes, but what ever it is thank god, because if they had any sense they'd be all into other chicks 'cause chicks are way hotter than dudes. Of course, I'm wired to think that way....) two chicks two times the hot, or as a comedian I've never heard but was relayed to me, "I agree...(with thier choice)"

provided all persons involved are equal in attractiveness, i don't much care...both arrangements can be very hot, but both can also be utterly disgusting if one or both of the participants is fugly.

I used to think that people in general preferred to see 2 women kiss as opposed to seeing 2 men.

Now I think that was just because it was mostly men answering those questions.

Look at all the girls who like yaoi manga, many more girl fans than guys.

So I now think it's a natural hetero reaction to seeing members of the opposite sex getting it on.

When you see two straight people getting it on, most people are only turned on by one of them. Now two members of the opposite sex getting it on, it's twice the sexiness. :D

I don't know, I don't think that's exactly it. And I think whoever said it was a hetero reaction was totally right. Seeing a hetero couple kissing is intrinsically associated with our kind of relationships, so it brings up jealousy or longing or she's-so-pretty-that's-why-she-got-the-guy complexes and it all buries the attraction. Gay couples, no matter how legitimate we feel their relationships are, still don't represent the relationship we understand, so none of those associations come up and so it's just hot.

that can't be it either, because i am bisexual and i like seeing any combination of attractive people kissing. all combinations are relationships i can relate to. :)

Huh. Well then, I suppose this is number 1037 on my list of things that are confusing but I don't care about enough to research so I'll leave it to the sociologists.

It's both. Gays want equal rights, and certain heteros are taking extreme offense to that.

I have absolutly no problem with gays or lesbians, so i voted 2 women.

it doesn't matter to me as long as the couple (doesn't matter if they're gay or straight) isn't full blown making out in front of me... otherwise, i like seeing two people be happy together, no matter what their sexuality.
