GIVE MY CREATION......LIIIIIFE!

Ahh..

For the last several years now, all I wanted was a nice new computer that could play all the new games, and whatnot.
I wanted it so bad, you cant reallty understand.

I took A+ computer technician classes, just to be able to build one.
For the last year or so, Ive been using a Compaq Deskpro.

Let me give you some stats on this dinosaur.

Pentium II 400mghtz processor.
256 megs of RAM (quite a lot for that computer)
4 MEG graphics card.

Needless to say, there wasnt much in the way of fun on that machine.

Those days are over

Today, my new machine is online, and working perfectly.

Stats:

Asus p4p800s motherboard.
1 gig of Corsair pc2700 ddr RAM.
Pentium 4 2.4 gig Prescott processor (1 meg L2 cache)
128 Geforce Nvidia graphics card (borrowed temporarily)
80 gig SATA HD.
Lite-On 52x32x52 CD RW.


Its not the best system ever or anything, but I built it my self, and Its the first nice computer that Ive built.
So Im pretty proud of myself.

Now it must run off, kill some villagers, come back, kill you and climb an old stone tower to be burned alive by an angry mob.

So long as it does it very well, I'll be happy.

Performance PC its supposed to be.

The LED lights, and fan lights are all red, and the case is black metal, so it looks like Darth Vaders pc.

But he probably got a lot of overtime pay, so Im sure he was at least well compensated.

Compaq sucks ass for gaming. I liked my HP much better. Even though my Compaq's stats are nearly twice as much as my old HP. The HP was a much better gaming machine. Plus I never had any device failure messages on my HP. The only problem that I ever had with the HP was that the motherboard got fried.
