There's almost certainly a type of doughnut that appeals to everybody's tastes. Myself, I like Bavarian Cream-filled. But have you ever had a yen for a doughnut that's not actually available, so far as you know? Have you? What sort of implausible doughnut have you craved in the last six months?

I always have a soft spot for old-fashoned glazed donuts. You can feel and taste all the grease and oil clogging up your veins. It's great! Recently, jelly-filled donuts have been on my mind though. But they have to be iced, not powdered.

I've never encountered a Bavarian Cream-filled that wasn't powdered or iced. It's like I want to go to a baker and get him to make a batch with no icing or sugar at all- just the plain cream-filled doughnut. But a more pessimistic part of me says I'll never do it, or even if I did do it, I doubt I'd find a friendly neighbourhood baker who'd do it without charging me some ludicrous sum. But I digress.

It's cool dude, I know what you mean. I just don't like powdered sugar much. It makes your teeth gritty. :(

Krisy-Kremes are the greatest doughnuts ever made. You can feel your heart start to clog after eating them. I swear that they are made of pure sugar.

Boston Cream. Mmm. Or Strawberry Vanilla. Those are good. Strawberry-jelly filled, with vanilla icing and sprinkles on only one half of the icing (cuz that's just fun). Those are really good. And I usually have a hard time finding them.

Damn, I was thinking of making a thread about apples. I love a crisp apple that leaves my teeth feeling like I've just brushed them. I just tried some Cameo apples (never had seen them before, they were sort of red and green striped and totally out of this world for flavour, juiciness, crispness) but we've come to the end of the really tasty macintosh season here - the ones left now that they call macintosh are just cooking apples now.

sorry if that seemed to come out of nowhere, but I think you'll agree it dispenses with the whole need for yet another thread, eh?

Dude, did you just post a picture of your own rotting severed legs??? F***ing sick! This is what that old blind man in the street meant when he said that you'd use your photographic powers for evil instead of good. Shame on you.

Where in england do you live? I live in England, and the donuts I eat are great! They are a bit too small, though.
