Read it if you enjoy a good case of the creeps.

Then sleep with the light on.

Is there any way to verify those events? It seems a bit made up to me, as scary as it was.

I almost think it is one of those internet games, like the I Love Bees game. Still creepy though.

I sent an email to the guy...let's see if he replies. ;)

I googled "eric heisserer" and found out he is a writer. I think he does some RPG stuff. This is probably fake then. Still very interesting though.

I agree. I find it hard to believe Mark would spend close to 20 minutes in that house just typing text messages on his phone when he thought he was in danger.

It was cute and full of suspense because it was drawn-out. I didn't find it to be all that scary though. I guess it just didn't seem realistic enough to scare my pants off.

Did anyone go to the link on the updates page? There was a link to a livejournal of "a 16 year old girl." I thought this was slightly more creepy than the rest.

Go through the various links on the 16 year old - theres lots of them. Very odd. Particularly the friends.

I rather liked the "unseen monster" rather then the horrific gore fest that has become common these days. Much better to be spooked then disgusted.

Like how Jaws was scary until you say the lame rubber puppet...

Yeah...I found it pretty creepy. See, we're renting an odd, little, run down, one story house. I don't think there's any scarring on the roof (like there is other places), but, you know, it's hard to see from the outside.
