From a Yankees fan:

I would like to congratulate the Boston Red Sox on fielding a superlative, truly dynamic, team. They earned the right to be called world champions. To those who say that their fans are low browed losers who handle the mantle of champion as a beserkers on crack I say posh!

I also decry the extension of their views to the Boston Police Department. It takes a remarkable skill set to turn a non-lethal weapon into a deadly projectile.

For once let us set aside our differences for the moment it takes to . . .

I'm no damn bangwagon fan. All I did was congratulate the Red Sox and their fans. I'm a Tigers fan buddy and have been since I could remember. If you think I'm a bandwagon fan I'd like to see how well you would do having the put up with a GM as incompetent as Randy Smith for roughly a decade, give or take a few years (Thank goodness we have Dombrowski up front now). No, I'm just congratulating the fans and their team. If you don't like it tough. Personally, I just thought it would be nice to do that, especially considering the long championship drought Boston has had.

It is simple. The Red Sox lost the first 3 games in the ALCS and were crushed in Game 3. Instead of capitalizing the Yankees lost the next 4 and off the Sox were to the Series. If ever the Red Sox were to be congragulated it is this year. Pedro Martinez is a free agent now and he better stay the hell in Boston. Along with Varitek and Lowe. Sox management have to play it smart for next season. I just hope A-Rod is sulking now like after Game 7 ended. Cheaters don't win!

Now we can wait for the Patriots to do it again as a bonus for what we witnessed last night.
