So my friend on NS and I have been disscussing this and we need help with this... He just had a break up and while he was still in this relationship another chick liked him. Now that he is singal I told him to ask her out and he doesn't want to because he thiks she doesn't like him. But I think that even if the chick doesn't like you, you can ask her out. He is fearing that she will reject him but she must have some feellings for him because she is spending Sunday with him and she wants to have coffee with him... So can anyone give him suggestions?

Also the Girl who he likes now is like an 8.5 out of 10 on the hottness meter nad his ex is an 6 if that is any importance.

I understand he may not be feeling too confident, but he should just ask her out. The worse thing that can happen is that she says no, but if she already spends Sundays with him I don't think that's likely.

Well you see, women have a habit of not just saying no, but also doing nasty things like spreading rumors and really not making it worth the effort/risk sometimes. Just my experience.

I'm with you, Halva. Having a pair of sisters, and being the primary school bully-target has kept me away from machoism. You girls often just can't get what you want. If you want a nice guy who is also very attractive to girls, you're going to be waiting a long time, as most guys come in two packages: good-looking but treats you like dirt; and not all that attractive, but treats you like a person. Take your pick, but most girls go for the first, then complain about it.

EDIT: And Kanabia, you're absolutely correct. They don't just stick the knife in and pull it out, they need to twist it around too.

The best thing to do is surprise her. Do very cruel things like tripping her up and setting her hair on fire so that when you ask her out (after running over her dog) she'll be so confused that she won't have time for rational thought.

My best advice would be to just not think and go for it. Look how many complete morons girls like (speaking from my high school experience which I'm still in). Those guys obviously don't think very much and look at their success rate. I'm not even trying to be a smartass as I truly have seen this. I used to be shy then I had much better luck when I started showing confidence even when I would realize how insanely reckless I was being. What sucks is I'm not even that interested in girls anymore. I'm bi but I lean more towards gay.

Those complete morons happen to represent almost all the sports stars and other guys girls find the most attractive. Girls at high school are all about appearance, and nothing to do with personality. They don't want guys who are good to them but don't look good for their friends.

I'm a high school girl and every guy I've liked has been recieved with some variation of "Ewwww, him?" by my friends. Didn't stop me liking the guys, since I liked them for personality...

But feel free to consider me statistically irrelevent or something, if you prefer embittered stereotypes...

with this new girl, until he gets over the old girl,
and then tell the new girl he wants to see other people.

A serious relationship for anyone still under 30
is a waste of alot of sex with alot of girls.
Because the reality is; that once your older
you won't be having sex with those young girls ever again.

Guys don't regret having promiscuous sex at all, because guys actually gain respect by having lots of sex in their teens. It's the girl that would be seen as the whore not you, and although it shouldn't be that way - it is that way.

NO! that's wrong! i dont care who you are, you should have some basic morals and they say that you dont go around with so many girls! So sukafitz may endorse promiscuity and tell you that you'll regret it later if you don't get around, the simple fact is that a) its wrong, and b) you'll be much happier if you find someone worth staying with than if you find someone worth having sex with once and then dumping.

If it weren't for chicks making the moves I wouldn't have gotten any 'action.' Otherwise I'm too apathetic. Doesn't do well on my "Effort vs. Reward" scale.

ok seriously? teenage girls don't even know what they want let alone whos decent, so im siding with "the evil ones", Considering i'm 16, and i've only had sex with 4 girls, and one of them was a complete douche bag in all sense of the word, cause they'll change thier minds if you don't! have sex, be happy, move on! ask the girl out, then the next day ask for sex, if she says no, tell her shes uptight, and then head for her friend. she won't be too "unwilling" then haha. All i'm saying is don't worry about relationships until your way older bud, girls have a tendancy of being 2 faced when its come to that. Also... they are looking for the drama! and if you date someone else when she dumped you but her plan was to only dump you for a bit and see your reaction (because, trust me, they do that, i've seen it more times then enough with my 7 sisters) and you go date someone else, she'll go stalker on your ass and start chasing you down to where ever you go on a "coincidence" level and try small talk, this is where i'd get a restraining order. anyways, nail and bail. your only young once, enjoy it.

Now children, have a seat on uncles lap and I'll tell you a story. As a man who grew up in the 70's I can attest that you should enjoy life and have fun. That being said, teenagers are like rabbits, always have and always will be. Be sure to wrap things up or even wear two. Skank and hootchie are just labels, remember you only have a few years and if the taunts and insults are too much, move away from home when you go to college, and start over.

Now my experience (if it had to be a movie) would be that of a xxx throw down. I only got in "trouble" twice. Nothing a little injection couldn't fix. My philosophy about picking up dames is that it is much like fishing. Throw your line out enough and you'll get some bites. Be honest when you approach broads, if you are looking for a little bit o' action, say so. Don't beat around the bush. My line which worked was "Hey (insert name) you've been looking foxy lately. Want to come over to my parents house and go swimming and maybe fool around? No, well it's no loss, as I'm sure those things that they say about you aren't true."

I've been married 4 times now, and I'm sure my directness has paid off in many ways.

BTW a good way to tell if she likes you is to blow in her ear when she's not looking. If she doesn't scream and run away, she likes you. Another (which I did in HS gym class) is to walk up behind her when she is sitting on the floor, whip it out and tap her on the shoulder with it. She may or may not run, but make sure you're not going to embarass yourself if you don't measure up.
