T-Minus 6 days to the election

Anybody else excited? I have off, for some stupid reason!

elections are the best time for a terrorist attack.
there is simple logic to this too. people are so wrapped up in the elections that if somthing happened our whole way of life would like suck

I'm so glad this is almost over. I'm so overwhelmed in politics I'm going insane. I spend hours each day pouring over news, polls, blogs, opinion pieces, and statistics. I might explode on Election day. In fact, it seems like half the country is likely to explode on Election day. Grab an umbrella.

I'm excited. This is the longest campaign in US history, and it has come down to one night. The victor will, of course, get elementary schools named for him, and the winning side will have bragging rights for months. I hope I don't find myself on the loosing side, but hey, shit happens. If I am, however, I'll use it to my advantage. I'll take a hike, take up jogging, or perhaps take up painting. Even though the country will endure a grand screwover, I get the satisfaction of telling myself that I won't really experience it.
