A Simple Question

My question is...what's wrong with flip flopping? Changing your mind when you are confronted with evidence that you made a mistake? Is that the worst John Kerry is...admitting he made mistakes...or is it better to have someone who is immediately decisive? Immediately the WRONG decision who won't admit they are wrong?

Very true.
Changing one's mind from time to time in the face of new information is a hallmark of intelligence and sufficient humbleness to not assume that one always knows best.

Unfortunately, this is often painted in the political arena as pandering to the voters. No doubt, it is exactly that sometimes, but not all of the time, by a long shot. Whether or not it is with Kerry, none of us can really say: nobody here knows him, truly understands all of his motives, has spoken with him on a level deeper than "Hi, vote for me!" (I'm guessing), or otherwise has been able to directly figure out what exactly he's thinking. Same with Bush. We have only their actions and the (highly partisan) commentary from the opposing side to go on.

Kerry isn't a flip-flopper. He's a panderer and political opportunist.

Who isn't? You think Bush hasn't cashed in on 9/11? Look at his numbers before the attack. He was really doing awful then after, it was 'must defeat terrorism!' Lucky for him, eh? Still I do agree with the statement on Kerry.
