Naw, she went home to you hours ago, said she had to be bakc before you sobered up.Well there you go. Suddenly it's all perfectly clear, I understand why you post the nonsense you do. I had a feeling you had some sort of mental disorder, but I didn't dream it went to the extent that you believed you could talk to sheep. Does she plan on voting for Bush too?

Eminem makes some cool videos, dis' some good potheadaticans, and what not.
The Boss used to rock in his day.
It's all good.
Just because Mr Kerry was there, doesn't mean it still rocked. And besides, how much did that sha-bang cost? Or, was it one of those hush-hush charity events?
Once the mini-cert is over with, it's an individual choice to put in the ear plugs, or just leave. But hey, I prefer to get all the freebies that are to be had, then leave!
I think the Kerry/Boss event was free, but if anyone has better info, I'm open to hearing it.

Yeah it was free, but you had to have a ticket... that they gave out stacks of and didn't even check.

Yeah especially when certain laws are broken and certain government employees are encouraged to go participate in rallys. Bruces' "Glory Hole Days" are pretty much over. Who mentioned Toby Keith?? We were talking about the "Boss". Besides I like classic crying country (whiskey drinking, butt-kicking).

Awesome rally. Here in Madison we were 80000+ strong! I was maybe 40 feet away from the stage. People covered 5 full blocks up to the capitol. It was breathtakingly beautiful. There were some Republican protestors dressed up like giant flip-flop sandals. They looked stupid. People were covering the porches on either side of the street, with the exception of one porch which had Bush supporters. There was 2 people on that porch, and they were cowering behind a sofa and the balcony. The porch above them and the porch below them were covered with smiling, laughing people. Madison rejoicing is truly great.

Our republican protesters marched in a parade type thing it seemed like outside of the rally. From my definitely-not-vantage point they seemed orderly, but I heard something about sticking signs to a truck or something.

I got back from doing volunteer work at the event. I was near the Ohio Union building's west-facing exit that's on the north side of the building. The room where the news media people would upload their stories was inside the building and their path from the stage to that room crossed a path used by pedestrians. My task before the event was to help security keep the pedestrians and the news media separate and to direct the ticket holders and uncredentialed news media to their correct check-in places. When the event started, the Secret Service told us that only the news media and higher could go through that area so we set up three layers of barricades and let the news people walk between the second and third barricades. My task from then until the end of the event was to stand at the south edge of the restricted area and tell people that they could get around it by walking through the Ohio Union building. This meant that I pissed off hundreds of people during the next 4 1/2 hours. There were also some times when I had to call for help from the real security officers and police when someone would continue pushing through past me. They set up a fourth barricade at the edge of the restricted area, which helped me a lot. Still there was one idiot who ran through the barricade and stopped a few seconds away from being arrested and maybe several more seconds away from being shot. After the event ended, we pulled the barricades out of the way and let everyone leave. That was when I learned that most of the volunteers had left so I spent the next 3 hours cleaning up the south oval. While John Kerry was out there, I was about 100 yards away from him and could only see him as a small blur between the leaves of a tree, but it was all so worth it. And if a skinny guy wearing a white hat with a Kerry/Edwards button told you that you were going into a restricted area next to the Ohio Union building, you met me

Based on what information do you make this accusation?

On a slightly different note Michael Moore actually did something for me today. Because he was giving a speech by the downtown Broward County Florida Library he kept enough people at bay for me to go vote for Kerry and get home in under 30 minutes. Probably the only decent thing the man has ever done. I loath Moore with a passion. The real irony is I voted for Bush four years ago; Registered Republican, go figure. Just don't think I could stand four more years of let downs.

80,000? Nice big overestimated count little buddy!
According to most sources the head count ranges from 72,000 to over 80,000.
At least 80,000 people turned out to rock with the Democrat and The Boss in this key midwestern state, adding high-octane harmonics to the leaden drumbeat of attacks on Iraq that Kerry exchanged anew with President George W Bush.
``The future is now and it's time to let loose your passion,'' Springsteen urged a crowd estimated by police at more than 80,000.
But it's always nice to know the internet is there for easy fact checking before making incorrect comments. ;)

What we DO know is a rough estimate no how many people were there, and the fact that you were wrong.
Just admit it. Don't be a little crybaby about it.

Hmmm how mature. Did your fifth grade friends hand you that one or did you come up with that tired thing all on your own?
It's not my fault your too incompitant to look at the figures yourself. All in all the estimate is 80,000 people. For whom was never in question.
