That time already?

List the present you want the most, or you are getting your friend, family, partner, co-worker, ect, and make a TOP 10 CHRISTMAS PRESENT list.

Personally, I wouldn't mind an IPod mini.

They're just so cute!

Unfortunatly, I'm paying for our christmas this year, so I won't get any presents... I'll be buying them. :(

but it doesn't matter. I like christmas for the food. :)

But if i could get my dream present, it'd be a new PC. (my current one is useless for anythig except web browsing.)

Hmmm, well, I shall be mocked eternally if I list what *I* want (let's just say it covers a broad range including sex toys *and* children's toys, plus a non-iPod mp3 player... mmm).

*looks around*
WHAT? Don't look at me like that!

Personally, I wouldn't mind an IPod mini.

The Unchangable battery in the I-pod lasts just 12 months-then you have to buy a new I-pod. they are useless and a waste of money. Just get a regular MP3 player. it's more reliable.

I'll take one of those, please. :D

In the more material world, however, I'd love to trade my old PC desktop for a Powerbook, but that's the sort of present I'll have to get for myself.

If Bush steals another election I think Bush, Gore and Kerry should be put in a room together and Gore and Kerry should be allowed to beat the crap out of him.

Actually, I heard some thing funny on The Daily Show last night. He had Bob Kerrey on (The dude from the 9/11 commission) Any way, He asked him "If Bush loses do you think he'll leave?" Kerrey just laughed and Jon Stewart then said, "well he could just point out that he doesn't read newpapers" LOL.. of course it's not as funny in text, but it was pretty funny.

Unfortunatly, that won't happen, and we all know bush will steal the election-it's the only way he'll get power. then we have another 4 years of uselessness.

But i live in the UK, where all our polititians are useless, so i'm used to stupid leaders.

No it doesn't. My friend rang up after his battery ran out, and asked if they could send a new battery, and they said he'd have to get a new I-pod. I also saw an interesting movie on Kontraband.com also pointing this out.... Give me a second, and i'll post the link.

You can get a replacement battery, just not from Apple. Apple won't change it for you either--you have to do it yourself and you void the warranty when you do.

slightly creepy about the battery issue. I thought the new ones...ones out yesterday, had a mega battery life anyway??? And the pic thing is cool...if you like pictures I guess. would be good for people that travel?

Well personally I've never trusted official software from either Microsoft or Apple unless it's nessesary for you to surf the net, but heres the link i've seen.

http://www.kontraband.com/show/show.asp?ID=1063&NEXTID=0&PREVID=1070&DISPLAYORDER=20031204000043&CAT=movies&NSFW=

you need quicktime and sound to view it. it loads quite fast.

Apparently it's 16 months and thats the worst. Also you can get Apple to replace the battery for somewhere around $100 (Australian or US - I don't know) Or if it's within the warranty then it's free. Or you can get a third party battery, replacing it yourself and voiding the warranty.

Yeah, It came out yesterday. Carries photos but does not take them, colour screen, ect.

Now they also have one that U2 designed and it has the signatures of the band on the back. Looks nifty, however, does the same. If you are not a hardcore U2 fan, do not get his one.

id like a laptop pc for christmas. its getting hard to run my ebay/import empire from the road. anyone know where i can get a really cheap one that actually WORKS? (no dont say ebay, i hate buying stuff without knowing who im buying it from or if it really works)

what i REALLY want is a 40 foot hight radio tower. i need one that high to get over the trees so i can get wireless interent from out here in the middle of nowhere.

everything i buy in november and december that isnt common household stuff gets wrapped up and put under the tree. even if its for ME. i hate having nothing for myself on christmas morning so i make sure i do even if its socks and underwear.

I wouldn't mind that ipod only simply because I'm sick of CD players.

after that, I would love for the shit in Iraq to stop(world peace) and money. Big Chum loves money.

I'm going to be practical here, things that I could actually get. I'm moving out next year, so I need heaps of stuff...

1. Guitar- Cherry red Gibson SG (hey, a girl can dream!)
2. DVD player
3. a decently sized T.V
4. iPod or some other such device- damn discman is too big!
5. a handblender. yeah yeah- i love cooking
6. The Queen back-catalogue!
7. My boyfriend here!
8. To lose a few kilos
9. a job
10. DVD's

Now that I look at them, they're in no particular order... Actually, the boyfriend thing is definitely number one. Damn long-distance relationship. :(
