I don't know about anyone else here, but I am really getting sick of all these stupid stereotypes. I am sick of seeing people say that all white Christians are racists. I am sick of seeing people say all muslims are terrorists. I am sick of seeing people say that all Republicans only care about them selves. I am sick of people saying that all Democrats are tree hugging communists. I see those and many more from both the liberals and the conservatives on these forums. If your logic is to use some of the members of that group, then you are a freaking idiot. If you believe one of those, then how are you different from the people that say all African-Americans are criminals, and all Germans are Nazis and countless more. Also I am really getting sick of these ignorant people (once again on both sides) who won't listen at all and turn what could be an intelligent debate into a flame thread. And please actually have your facts straight before posting because once again far too many people are being idiots about some of the debates going on here. This is not intended to be a flame thread so please dont turn it into one.

Besides this, got some historical facts to back up this 12 million number? I somewhat doubt that it was that much.

I admit there are many black criminals, but there are also many white criminals, or asian criminals etc.

Now as for German nazis, not ALL Germans were nazis in fact, very few of them were

That is a sadly true fact. No matter what you do people are going to stereotype, for no other reason that they do come from fact and it is an easy way to catagorize people for good or for worse. Yeah people could go around saying that, oh, republican's are greedy and self-centered and of course they no it is not true for all republican's, but they're making a generalization because a lot are and their ideals somewhat promote that type of thought (no not out of thin air, out of lack of empathy for minorities and the disadvantaged clearly shown through many of their policies.)

I despise stereotyping (specifically the negative kind).

stereotyping is unavoidable as we don't have enough time in conversations to list individuals.
it's only really negative racial steroetypes that are malicious...
some others are quite true
i.e
salesmen are arseholes
police are braindead power-trip robots
