Food Fight in Taiwanese Parliament

Why can't they just do this in the US instead of those god-awful attack ads?

They’ve fought with fists. They’ve thrown paper at each other. Now Taiwan’s rowdy MPs have had an old-fashioned food fight.

They began chucking white cardboard takeout lunch boxes full of rice, meat, hard-boiled eggs and vegetables at each other during a heated debate in parliament over whether Taiwan should spend billions on weapons sold by the United States.

The food fight in Taipei, which lasted just minutes, left tabletops, chairs and the floor littered with rice and chunks of hard-boiled eggs.

That's brilliant. We need to get Bush and Kerry to have a food fight. I might even vote for Bush if he won!

(although that's doubtful)

That'd be fun. Go to the senate and throw stuff at people. Hmmm, good idea.

Man those Asians are brillant in what they come up with.

I've seen some UK Parliament sessions broadcast, they actually booed Tony Blair, it was hilarious.

Why must the US Congress be so uptight? :(

I guess not very hilarious if you're Tony Blair.

But who'd want to be him?

Oh yeah, that stuff's great.

They get all snide and everything. If they spat while talking it would melt through the table.

Man, our Congress sucks.

And yet nobody's done this to Bush yet because...?

I think the worst that happened to Bush in public was being pelted by eggs on the way to his inauguration.

Because of Secret Service. No man on this planet is better protected than the President of the U.S. ANd I don't think any President has been better protected than Bush. Or needed it more. Heh.

Yeah, but you'd think we'd be able to do something better. I mean, pelting eggs? You gotta do better than that. I'd like to see someone pants a politician on live TV. Doesn't matter which one, any one would do. :D
