I protest. I look nothing like Marlon Brando (well, maybe a little, but only from before he got fat.)

And yet you come in and read and comment on them. Mayhaps you don't understand the idea behind an "ignore list"? Or maybe you're just flip-flopping.

Kinda like Bush resisted the 9/11 Commission before he supported it.

Kinda like how Bush said it wasn't necessary but then went along with the whiners? And in the end, the Commission did absolutely nothing?

I don't know, I've seen you post on a lot of my threads before... :p

Yes, because the Bush administration has resisted every one of it's suggestions. How dare the Bush administration go along with the "whiners", in other words, the people who had lost wives, husbands, siblings, parents and children on 9/11.
Nice. Very, very nice.

No it hasn't. It made a national intelligence head, which Bush was already planning to do. Everything the Commission said was common sense.

As being a member of my local student congress, I know where he comes from. He argues both sides of the issue for advancement in politics. It works well, until your record is so closely examined under the microscope. We don't need a guy like this in office. Some guys like Kerry have gotten that far, like FDR and Richard Nixon. But at least they were good at being a politician, or "flip-flopping", if you will. Not John Kerry. He's a bad player at Washington's game.

Oh, so the 9/11 Commission was useful? Will you right-wingers get your stroy straight.

I'm more interested in that, than in a candidate who won't budge on any issues, won't admit opposing viewpoints, can't admit he's made anything like a mistake, and will always stubbornly persist in his narrow viewpoint no matter what. Some of his policies truly creep me out.
I'm honestly, sincerely, and deeply afraid that 4 more years of Bush will destroy all the progress this country's made in civil rights, human liberties, religious choice, political accountability, diplomatic ties, and, well, freedom. I think he's very authoritarian and without having to worry about reelection coming up, who knows what kind of extremes Bush will be likely to go to?
I like that John Kerry is able to change his mind and admit he's infallible. But even if he never had a solid idea in his life, I would still vote my heart out for him. Bush honestly scares me.

Changing his views because of pressure from public opinion?
Now, I'm almost sure that SOMEONE said that a candidate who did that would be bad for america...
