In respose to the recently locked, "Bush is a Nazi" thread. I wanted to point this out to everyone else, but it got locked before I could, so here goes my angry rant:
This thread is satire off the "Kerry is a communist" (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=368418) thread. just look at Gigatron's first post:
Got no proof, but his dictatorship methods of ruling the US and ignoring foreign governments surely come close to what the nazis did in the 1940s in Germany. Heil Bush, mein Führer!
Now, I might take this post a little more seriously if the bolded part wasn't there, but really, if someone admits that they've "Got no proof", do you think that they're actually trying to make an actual point?
Now, lets look at his second post:
Then whats the opposite of Nazi? Is Bush a JEW???
OK, now, if Gigatron was really crazy enough to make remarks this extreme, then I'd have noticed it by now. Come on people, just because NationStates has a reputation for breeding idiots doesn't mean everyone is. Of course some of Gig's posts were actual points, such as saying that when popular vote isn't counted it becomes undemocratic, but at least the beginning of this thread is obvious satire.
