They gotta hurry before the US can withdraw from Iraq to attack Iran. If they got nukes before that, they can evaporate the US ground troops or even threaten a nuclear attack on US mainland or Israel.

Read the Iranian views on Tehran's nuclear plans. They're interesting. You can see their point - after all, the US hasn't attacked North Korea which is arguably more of a threat than Iraq was. Nuclear weapons do seem to act as a deterent.

Their plans are "interesting"? disturbing, if you ask me.
Oh dear.
The world has too many nukes already.
And Iran is one of the last countries I'd like with nuclear weapons.

And this somehow suprises us all?
Defined by Bush, our axis of evil si North Korea, Iraq, and Iran. Iraq is being taken care of (sort of) and North Korea and Iran are just sort of sitting there. Iran has oil, North Korea has a 2 million man standing army. North Korea was (and is) the biggest threat. What are we doing, nothing. I think its amusing and very sad that Bush decided to go after the country that threatened us the least, first.

There are commands in Holy Koran that we must keep up to date with technology and weaponry.Holy eff! I'm reeling from that comment, although I suppose it's no worse than some Christians pull out of their book...

Not to mention that Iran is just between Iraq and Afghanistan.

Going after North Korea isn't an option, because it's actually a REAL threat that might be able to fight back.
You don't invade countries that have nuclear weaponry.

You don't invade countries that have nuclear weaponry. That's the point of having them.

Iran knows that the US in incapable of invading them since america is now hopelessly bogged down in Iraq.
When america made the historical blunder of invading iraq, it handed iran atomic weapons and handed a vast arsenal of conventional weapons to militants.
Islamic militants and others no longer need state sponsorship, the US has sponsored them by giving them Iraq's stockpiles of guns and bombs.
