*obviously since the GOP never wins when theirs high voter turnout the only thing they can do is intimidate new voters

In election news, Republican officials in Ohio have formalized plans to send thousands of paid recruits to go to polling places on Election Day to challenge the qualifications of voters in heavily Democratic urban areas. This according to a report in the New York Times. Republicans have registered 3,600 election monitors in Ohio each of whom will be paid $100 to work on election day. The Democrats have registered about 2,000 monitors. Already the Republicans have challenged the voting eligibility of 35,000 registered voters in Ohio.

Challenging eligibility does not equal terrorizing children.

let us remember West Virginia in the 1800's, a state which always went democratic back then. For three pres elections in a row they had in excess of 100% turnout, with the highest being 118%

Let us remember that the old Democrats of the south would now be considered Republicans, and the Republicans of the north would now be considered Democrats.

Now come on, get off this party conspiracy crap you two!

Just so you know...the parties switched platforms during the civil rights movement. I wouldn't bother insulting the parties for anything before then, you're most likely insulting your ideological ancestors.

Modern day Democrats have had various cheating incidents, more notorious than Republicans. I can't remember which ones, though I think there was one with Johnson.

Lets not say anything about 2000 now, that was different, it was the Republicans so it was OK.

The only votes the Republicans want to supress are fradulent ones. Like, say, Mary Poppins or any of her friends registered as voters in Ohio by the "volunteers" from the NAACP paid with crack cocaine for each fradulent voter they deliver.

How do you know Mary Poppins wasnt a registered democrat her whole life? and I suppose republican firms pretending to be neutral and throwing democratic ballots into the garbage can are any better?
