An amazing discovery!

In 1985, Re-Animator, a rather delightful romp penned by the great H.P. Lovecraft, was put to film and sent out to theaters everywhere. It was a hippie love fest of gore and gratuitous violence.

I saw it in the theater in Houston at the tender age of 13 and thought it to be the most wonderful thing I'd ever seen at the time.

Now I own the special DVD release and was watching it last night as I lay in bed trying to sleep and was startled out of bed by the shock of Dr. Carl Hill, played by David Gale (at least according to the credits), first showed up on screen.

You may know him as David Gale, but I - as well as millions of my fellow liberals - know him as Presidential hopeful John Forbes Kerry!

Don't believe me? Go on ... take a look ...

I will have to find a better image ... but here is Herbert West (Jeffery Combs) talking to Kerry's (aherm ... Gale's) re-animated head in a restaurant steam tray.

What the deuce??? If that's not photoshopped, that's uncanny. :)

Uncanny, indeed. :)

Anyway, honest-to-goodness look-a-likes do exist. There are probably a few people* out there, somewhere, who look like President Bush.

* I specifically said "people"; please do not post pictures of monkeys. It's old and we've seen it, before. That's a player request, not a Mod request.

Sorry, but 20 years ago, Kerry did not look like he looks today. He didnt always have this distinguished look with silvery-grey hair ;)

Though, it is tempting and there is no doubt, Bush does look like a chimpanzee ;)

I doubt it (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0301834/).

Especially since the David Gale from that film died over ten years ago.

Richard Bachman is dead, too. Doesn't prove anything.
